What can the Model W40 do?
Floating oils in basins of different sizes are no longer a hurdle with FRIESS oil skimmers. Our Model W40 has been specially designed for basins with a width of 800 mm or more. The length of the basin can extend beyond 20 m.
Its innovative design allows the Model W40 to still be in use at lifting heights that are up to 600 mm above the surface of the iquid.
Due to its robust construction, the FRIESS oil skimmer Model W40 can even be used 24 hours a day without any problems. Even solids such as sand, chips or particles in the oil do not affect the system, because all parts that are susceptible to wear are made of highly abrasion-resistant ceramic. The oil skimmer is also constructed of durable stainless steel. All of this to provide you with a long-lasting product that will help you reduce your maintenance expenses.
Depending on the viscosity of the oil as well as the thickness of the respective oil layer, the W40 oil skimmer can achieve a flow rate of up to 230 liters of oil per hour. The result thus depends entirely on your individual operating conditions. Thanks to the corresponding accessories, however, the output can be increased without much effort and optimally adapted to your needs.
